i like jana gana mana.. but I dont like the reason why rabindra wrote it.. it was written to praise visiting Viceroy when he came to ingurate gateway of india (if i m not wrong)
many reasons: [1] the lyrics are noteworthy [2] ar rehman has recomposed it [3] amaan and ayaan are playing the sarod [4] bhimsen joshi is singing [5] i appreciate my indianess and the list continues.. Mostly it is refreshing once in a while to post non standard stuff on my blog. It initiates a good conversation.

jana gana mana is more a tribute to tagore legacy and inturn classical india...

jana gana mana was composed by Rabindra.. even music... so rahman doing it is like 'remixing' old classic...
