Return of the Roomy

So while we have one muslim being honored by the city of Tempe, I have the unofficial ignominy of being the most negative person. At this point I wanted to go online and find my negativity rating on some site but well... I have to pack up my stuff. I guess I am lucky to have such good people around me that help me always reflect on things that need improvement. Good that muharram is coming close, i can add being positive to the list of new year resolutions. Wait Chinese new year is close too. Probably i will add it there and then it wont be such a compelling resolution. anyways new year resolutions are made to be broken.....

MC and MS sent out mayday signals today. they are now counting their last days in the kitchen, before getting two extra helping hands each. Trrooop Salute karega --- trooop salute.

NS competed and finished the rock and roll 1/2 marathon. So in honor the flag will be hoisted at twice the mast. Quite inspirational to see someone improve so much in two years. Sort of draws me into getting back at the stuff I did in my younger days. too bad I gave that up to become a workaholic :)

Ok logging off. have to pick up my roomy, bambaii se aaya mera dost......dost ko...

and finally I need to go back to my previous entry "Truly enlightened people dont seek to be others- rather they seek to be superior to their former selves"

Why the negativity?

I tried living with roommates in college, it never worked. I think the main reasons were 1- I'm very moody and 2- I'm very particular about neatness. Ooh, and 3- I'm really impatient.

Wow, I should add these qualities to my resume :D

is it so negative :( .... So my work pressure is shedding off on this blog.

I never had a roomate with whom I did not have fun. life mein chill rakhne ka. there are sufficient things to tax yourself on, roomies shouldn't be one of them.

I didn't mean to say you were being negative- I was asking why you're calling yourself the most negative person?

i dint see anyone else get a -6. So that makes me the most negative person :)

BK: is hussein here in AZ or sent back to iraq?

I am not asking for free stuff... T1 asked my when is birthday... makes a gift list for his birthday... so one expects that he gives/accepts birthday gifts....

So T1 is 'El cheapo', not me... I give good birthday gifts....

Spring break..
option 1: north california (1 week)
option 2: Colorado Aspen. (10 days)

T2 assumes too many things. Keeping a wishlist does not mean that i celebrate birthdays.

Just a question do you celebrate eid-a-milaad? why not?

s. Toufeeq a. Ahmed said...

Nope....

and I dont celebrate birthdays for the sake of celebrating birth.. some ppl feel good about celebrating it becos one day in year they get chance to celebrate... if it makes somebody happy then why not... same goes for christmas.. i get gifts for chirstmas. and i give gifs for christmas.. let me know if u like to get gifts for chirstmas...

back home we used to do this for EID, here nobody does for eid.. ppl do for christmas..

T2: mashaAllah u celebrate Christmas? :P

i do becos my friends do and they invite me... my landlord does.. my neighbours do.. I dont get christmas tree or stuff for my house.. but I do help my friends to setup theirs...

I do go to my hindu friends festivals.. and encourage my roomate to celebrate diwali (festival of lights)...
